I don't think the android app is working here in India. The website links are working but not the app. Also, even using the VPN (to United States, or Netherlands, etc) also the app is not making connection/working.

Please look into this. What are the updates on the Android app and how well updated / up-to-date are the connection links?

Please try reinstalling the application and restarting your phone.

I tried but I require dark mode, here and there. The app didn't have a setting I could find. I'm not sure about here yet, just arrived.

Unfortunately, the app doesn't have a dark mode, only the online reader.

This is a good area for improvement. My sensitive migraine eyes beg of thee.

AngryKnit0r, you probably will be able to force dark mode in developer options on your android device itself. I can do it with a kindle which is based on the android operating system, so you should be able to do it with an android phone. Even apps that don't officially support dark mode have to take a bended knee.

It might not be the best looking product around, but it'll at least be viewable.

On your device:

1 Enable Developer Options
Refer to the manual for your specific device for where it is. It'll be in Settings > About Device. It may not be visible, but it'll be there.

2 Settings > System/Additional Settings > Developer options
You're turning on an option called Force Dark. May be called Override Dark Mode or similar variation.

This will force dark mode for everything on the device. Whether each app officially supports it or not.
If you find a conflict with an essential app as its now too dark, repeat these steps to reverse it.

Thank you for your reply.
However, I do not use an android device for this.
