Thank you, I completely missed that.
If its what I think it is, then if you check back in a few days it'll say 5. My suspicion is its a rather annoying persistent indexing problem.
Happens with searches as well. You go to search for a book you just uploaded, and its not there. You click on it from 'my uploads' and its there as normal, fully findable. Then a few days later it appears on search, and a few days after that is gone again. Or you have a search that says 0 books, then proceeds to list them.
Can't find a book you're sure was there before? Same deal. It'll reemerge after a few days.

Recently, a large number of newly added books in Simplified and Traditional Chinese have encountered ISBN matching issues. Even in a Chinese-language environment, these ISBNs only display English or pinyin information, and can only be corrected through manual rematching. Since the number of affected pages is very large, this is likely due to a configuration issue during automated data retrieval.
If possible, please check the settings.
The system seems unable to distinguish between Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Could this issue be addressed? For example, you could revert to the previous approach of not differentiating between Simplified and Traditional Chinese and simply use “Chinese” as a unified language. Alternatively, when retrieving book information, you could prioritize assigning regions based on ISBN ranges—since ISBNs for mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are listed separately, this should not be technically difficult.

By the way, this is a Traditional Chinese book, but it cannot currently be categorized as such through automatic ISBN recognition and has to be corrected manually.

Hello, im not sure if this is the right place to post this issue, but Im facing trouble uploading a book. I haven't faced this issue before.I tried uploading from my phone and then from my desktop PC but it isn't working.
The problem is that after the file goes through the uploading>Analyzing stage, it gets stuck on uploading again.
Browser: Firefox (both devices)
PC: WIN11
Phone: Android 12
Issue: Stuck on uploading
Im trying to upload the "Fundamentals of Fluoroscopy" book by Davis Houston. It's the first pdf when you search for it, but I thought it would be useful over here too.

Its not your device settings. That's a known problem that affects uploading sometimes.
Try uploading on a different domain. That often fixes it, or just keep sending the file through till it stops doing the second uploading. If it takes more than a handful of attempts, best to switch domains or try again later. If multiple domains do it, its worth dropping the devs a line, as uploading may be down.
The moment that second uploading message appears, abort the file. The worker process has gotten confused, and its not going to work.
