Re: Bug Reports

I mean I agree in principle. Chinese is hard for me, and I have to keep running it through the translator to see if what I've typed has translated properly. It often hasn't, and sometimes I just give up rewording it to try and get a close literal translation. It is incredibly frustrating. The other recent example, French, I know full well I'm butchering the language but don't know enough of their internal syntax to get it right. There will doubtless be more examples as the forum grows.neo wrote: 18 Apr 2026, 08:54 Hmm... – could we perhaps agree to use a standardised language?
I don't want to translate every time
Do you mean the Lib-talk.io platform, or the Z-library platform? We kbnow there are fake Z-library accounts out there that reach out via email to convince people to part with their money in exchange for nothing. All we can do is warn users about them - see the forum thread viewtopic.php?t=89.图书馆的账号无法使用 wrote: 18 Apr 2026, 09:29 This is the translation obtained through a translation tool. As for whether you can understand it, I'm not sure either. I'm just a user of this platform, here to provide feedback on the usage of the platform.
The first question
Because from the very beginning, someone has been impersonating your backend and communicating via emails.
The library uses UTC. They will not supply their personal time zones as that can be used to work out which country in the world they are in. They will not take any action to help you verify their identity that also helps the various legal authorities verify their identity. From now on, could you please indicate the address and time difference when replying to emails?
Yes. They are completely separate. You can choose to link the two together. For security, a lot of users choose not to.The second question
For the same website, using different browsers, the screenshot was uploaded using UC Browser. The website can be logged in normally, but the user forum is exactly as shown in the screenshot - the account does not exist. So, are the website addresses for your library and user forum separate?
Right. Also editing to fix information for other users.I noticed that in the library, your process is as follows: open the website, log in with your account, search for keywords, set language extensions. Here, it's about users operating independently, clicking on the book title and then browsing, saving, or downloading, right?
I don't understand what you mean by 'the device system'.These steps are fine. The problem lies in an extension option. Some books have a single option, some don't, and there are also issues with the device system.
You can pay to increase your download limit for the 30 days, yes. The 10 downloads are the basic free option. You can use a telegram bot to increase that a bit, but I don't use telegram so have no experience with them. Additionally downloading the windows/linux/android standalone will double your limit for 30 days. This was reported in the library. If it's the latter issue, personally, I think it accounts for the majority of the cases. Some books cannot be opened, but the download limit of the library has been reached. The previous steps need time to collect and organize, and for this one, you should have someone in the backend who can modify it, right? Can it be changed?
A new FAQ is under development. In addition, many people on the forum have their own interpretations. It would be best for your backend to understand the users' thoughts before responding. Your platform should have news that has been searched through the browser before being used. Not everyone can continuously operate your platform. However, I hope that because there are many options for the platform, it can still be viable
I'm not familiar with the .pe domain.图书馆的账号无法使用 wrote: 18 Apr 2026, 11:19 The "personal" platform I'm referring to is your library. There are also two email addresses related to the library that I need you to confirm with your system. Please verify whether these email addresses are actually managed by the library's backend team and whether they can reply to users' emails. One of them has been confirmed. This is the other one.no-reply@z-lib.pe
Again, look at the link I sent you. Once again it is viewtopic.php?t=89. I cannot help you if you are unwilling to look at the existing resources provided for your safety. Translate it. Read it. Its important.图书馆的账号无法使用 wrote: Is it because of those found through searching on the browser? If following your reply, wouldn't that mean I used a fake email address from your library? At least from my perspective, I can see the original record here, but they are not clear on the other side.
I'm a library user and moderator. I deal with the books, and helping user issues where I can.图书馆的账号无法使用 wrote: If that's the case, do you only handle the management and operation of the library, and all other operations are done by the users themselves?
There are no plans I am aware of to give users more download slots per day without asking for something back, whether money or time. Those download slots are likely permanent, and aren't going anywhere as free access to knowledge is the cornerstone of the library's philosophy. However running the service does take resources, and so if you are after more books per day than the average person could realistically read, you are asked to give back in some capacity. Is this program set and won't be modified anymore?
Existing instructions for users could use some work. An overhaul is in the works. Hopefully that'll help with some of this.New FAQ? Is it an option or a function? Very curious.
